Nestled on 8 acres of picturesque land right in front of Esopus Creek, our 8 cozy cottages offer the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as you step outside, you'll be greeted by the stunning backdrop of the Catskills Mountains and the calming sound of the river flowing by.

If you're looking for some fun in the water, you'll be happy to know that there's a great swimming hole where the Little Beaverkill meets the Esopus. And for those of you who just want to relax and recharge, the meadow is the perfect spot for some forest bathing. Plus, the front lawn is a great place to hang out with the kids or your furry friends and maybe even make some new friends who are staying in the other cottages.

There's something for everyone in this area of the Catskills - from hiking and biking to skiing, fishing, and tubing. And if you're in the mood for some shopping or a spa day, there's a fantastic full-service spa just a stone's throw away. With Phoenicia, Woodstock, Kingston, and more all just a few minutes away, you'll never run out of things to do.

Design Details

We take pride in creating modern, bright, and functional spaces that are as welcoming as they are beautiful. Our cottages are peppered with pops of color and texture, which give them a warm and inviting feel.

We've incorporated reclaimed barn beams, upcycled items, and vintage prints throughout the cottages to give them a contemporary yet comfortable vibe. We believe that combining these elements creates a unique and unforgettable experience for our guests.

Our goal is to create a space that feels like a home away from home, with all the modern amenities and comforts you could ask for. From the moment you step inside, you'll feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready to enjoy everything our little corner of the world has to offer.

About Us

Let us introduce ourselves - we're Rachel and Hugh, the proud owners of The Perch! As Hudson Valley natives, we have a deep love and appreciation for our community and all the natural beauty it has to offer. When we stumbled upon this set of unique cottages originally built in the 1940s, we knew we had found something truly special.

Although the cottages were in pretty rough shape, we saw their potential and were determined to give them a new lease on life while still honoring their history and charm. It was a fun challenge to completely renovate the property and bring it back to its former glory.

And the best part? We've already received so much love and support from our community! We've had so many people stop by just to tell us how much they love what we've done with the cottages. It's truly heartwarming to see something that was once overlooked now being appreciated by everyone in the community.
